Over the past few months, I have been quietly working on a project that’s felt very close to my heart. It’s something creative, personal, & a little bit different from my usual content. I am finally ready to share it with you.
MY COLOURFUL CONFESSIONS LOG (MCCL) is my new storytelling series where I will share letters - sometimes fictional characters I have created, sometimes from real people who write in, & then the following week I will share my reply. It’s part creative writing, part safe space, & all about reminding us that we are not alone in how we feel.
The letters will talk about everything from loneliness, love & chronic illness to creative dreams & the quiet routines that make up our days. It’s a place for secrets, confessions, & the small stories that make us human.
My hope is that MCCL becomes a gentle corner of the internet where we can share stories, connect, & feel seen.
I will be publishing the very first letter, which is a little about the fictional author Nina & where these stories are set. I will share them as individual blog posts so you can see a reader write in and then the reply from Nina. There will one letter per week, with a reply the following week From the author. You will see a letter from Ophelia, a young woman feeling invisible in the middle of her ordinary life, longing for more. I have a feeling many of us will see pieces of ourselves in her words.
The story is set in a fictional town called Willowmere. A little quaint village in the country side. The version of me you meet here is a part of a fictional world I have created for story telling. While my name is Nina both in real life & in these stories, the characters, places, & situations you will read about in My Colourful Confessions Log are often fictional, or fictionalised versions of real life feelings & experiences.
If you choose to write in & share your own story, please know your privacy is deeply respected. No personal details will ever be shared publicly without your clear permissions, & any letters I choose to include maybe edited or fictionalised to protect your identity.
You are always welcome to send your letter to me at info@mycreativechroniclife.co.uk. I would be honoured to read your story.
If you would rather listen instead of read, I also narrate each letter & reply on my YouTube channel. You can find all the stories under the MY COLOURFUL CONFESSIONS LOG section.
Thank you for being here & for trusting me with your words & time.
Warm Hugs & Pastel Days
Nina x
